There is something magical about a cozy cabin, a crackling fire, and the palpable silence of snow falling outside. Less than an hour from the hustle and bustle of downtown Seattle, Genesee Propane customer John E and his family find their dreamy escape."The minute I get there, I just feel myself relax." says John, appearing to relax just thinking about it.
John and his wife Charise bought their dream cabin in 2001. Since then they have spent many weekends and holidays with family and friends enjoying the peaceful mountain setting.The cabin sits right on the slopes of Summit East for a ski in, ski out experience. But even before and after the snow, the family enjoys the mountain air and the peaceful escape from city living.John said he was delighted to find recently that Genesee now offers Propane service at Snoqualmie Pass. He thought to look us up based on his warm memories of Genesee Fuel & Heating delivering oil to his childhood home as well as his Grandfather's house years ago in Burien."I still remember the nice delivery man's face, and his blue coveralls with the red and white Genesee logo and name badge."The big red truck and long hose can make quite an impression on a little boy. And those warm memories are exactly what we strive for in our customer service efforts today, as well as back in the early years when this company began.Last summer we set John up with a new 500 gallon propane tank to heat his cabin all winter long. John was the handyman for the newly constructed cover over the propane tank so he can more easily check the tank's percentage without digging it out of the snow.
