Heat Your Home With a Renewable Heating Oil

Bioheat® is an innovative fuel that fuses sustainable biodiesel with conventional heating oil. It’s made from locally sourced by-products and is a cleaner-burning alternative to standard heating oil, allowing you to reduce your carbon footprint without sacrificing warmth or reliability. Genesee Energy specializes in Bioheat® delivery for homes in Western Washington.

Two Custom Blends for a Seamless Transition

We offer two Bioheat® blends, B50 and B99, to make sustainable, renewable heating oil solutions easier to implement.

B50 Blend

B99 Blend

The B50 blend is a 50/50 mix of biodiesel and standard heating oil. It is an ideal way to begin using renewable fuel and to prepare your heating equipment for higher concentrations of biodiesel.

When your system has adapted to the introductory mix, you can step up to our B99 formula, which is 99% pure biodiesel. With just 1% conventional heating oil, B99 maximizes your environmental advantages and reduces your reliance on traditional heating oil. Genesee Energy’s experts can guide you through the transition, helping you determine when your boiler or furnace is ready and making the move as smooth as possible.

Upgrade Your Fuel Using Your Existing System

When the cost of replacing an entire heating system makes a greener choice feel out of reach, Bioheat® offers a smarter alternative. You can safely use both B50 and B99 formulas in almost all existing oil-based heating setups with virtually no hardware modifications needed.

That makes renewable heating oil a cost-effective alternative to a full system conversion. You can continue using the equipment you already have while introducing a cleaner-burning fuel, which can also help support your system’s performance and extend its lifespan.
