For nearly a century, the Clark family has proudly served communities across Western Washington, building a reputation for reliability, innovation, and customer care. Founded in 1929 as Genesee Coal & Stoker (when coal was the primary source of residential heat in Seattle) the company has grown alongside the region it serves. Today, Genesee Energy remains a third-generation, family-owned business committed to delivering dependable energy solutions while continuing the Clark family’s long tradition of service to the community.
Genesee Energy is now a full-service heating and fuel provider serving King, Pierce, Island, Snohomish, Clallam, Kitsap, and Thurston Counties. The company specializes in Bioheat® fuel (a cleaner blend of traditional heating oil and renewable biodiesel) while also offering expert propane services, commercial fueling solutions, and professional HVAC service. With decades of experience and a forward-looking approach to energy, Genesee Energy combines trusted family values with modern expertise to keep homes and businesses running safely, efficiently, and sustainably.
